Fluid loss additive CG714S is used in low-density cement slurry systems and is compatible with a variety of inorganic salts (CaCl2, Na2SiO3, NaAlO2). The comprehensive properties of the cement slurry, such as fluidity, sedimentation stability, thickening performance, and water loss, are normal and can meet on-site construction requirements.
Difficulties
A Russian customer raised a demand for a fluid loss additive that can be used in low-density cement slurry systems and has good compatibility with a variety of inorganic salts (CaCl2, Na2SiO3, NaAlO2). Low-density cement slurry systems are prone to poor slurry sedimentation stability. Inorganic salts may affect the comprehensive properties of cement slurry, such as fluidity, thickening time, and fluid loss, causing cement slurry to produce adverse phenomena such as accelerating setting, flash setting, and super-retarded setting.
Features of fluid loss additive CG714S which is resistant to multiple salts
Ø Good cement slurry sedimentation stability, less free liquid.
Ø Good thickening properties, no super-retarded, short transition time.
Ø Good cement slurry fluidity.
Ø Low fluid loss.
Ø Good compatibility with other additives.
