Fluid loss additive CG116S is used in high-density cement slurry systems and has strong dispersibility, which can meet the low-resistance pumping requirements. The thickening time is short, and the early strength of cement paste develops quickly. The setting transition time is short, and it has a certain anti-gas channeling ability to avoid oil, gas and water channeling.
Difficulties
In order to maintain the wellbore pressure balance in high-pressure environments, high-density cement slurry needs to be injected to ensure that the pressure of the liquid column in the well is always balanced with the formation pressure or slightly higher than the formation pressure. High-density cement slurry is generally achieved by reducing the water-cement ratio, increasing the bulk density of solid materials, increasing the density of slurry water, and adding weighting materials. Some problems are often encountered during use: 1. System instability causes the sedimentation of weighting materials; 2. Due to the high density and large solid content, the proportion of cementing materials decreases, and the strength of cement slurry develops slowly; 3. The cement slurry has high viscosity and poor fluidity at room temperature, and it is difficult to achieve the designed density during on-site construction; 4. The anti-channeling capacity is poor, and oil, gas and water channeling are prone to occur.
